Amazing Baking Soda - Nature's Greener Cleaner

Harsh chemicals in today's synthetic cleaners can contribute to indoor air pollution. Studies have shown that air quality inside our homes is sometimes worse than outdoor air, even when we live in urban areas with high air pollution levels. And it's this type of chemical-induced pollution that can cause great misery in the form of allergies, rashes and asthma. Folks, you don't have to suffer from the effects of these nasty chemicals any longer - your "miracle" cleanser has arrived!

Indoor Pollution
We get indoor air pollution because many toxic chemicals are used in modern building materials, walls, floor coverings, cabinets and other kitchen furnishings and even furniture in our homes. This indoor pollution can be difficult to avoid, but you don't have to add to the problem with household cleaners. You can save money and make your home a little greener by making a few substitutions.

The Secret - Baking Soda
You can put baking soda to work to replace chemical scouring powders used to clean your counter tops, stove tops, bathroom fixtures, shower tiles, and even grungy pots and pans.

Make a paste of baking soda and water on a sponge, and scrub like you would with any other scouring cleanser.

Remove Bathroom Scum
Baking soda will actually get soap scum off of your bathroom tiles and remove even the toughest of burned-on food from pots and pans. Baking Soda can be more effective at removing household grime and dirt than commonly used chemical cleaners - and baking soda doesn't leave chemicals behind to contaminate food!

Cleans Windows, Too
Ammonia-based glass cleaners can be replaced by a paste made of baking soda and a little white vinegar. Use a soft cloth or old newspaper. Your windows, mirrors and glass-topped tables will sparkle, and your rooms smelling fresh.

Takes Care of The Toilet
Use baking soda instead of toilet bowl cleaner by adding a little baking soda and vinegar to the bowl. Stir, and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then scrub with your toilet brush as usual. The toilet will be clean, with no harsh chemical fumes remaining in your bathroom. Why are all the uses of baking soda such well-kept secrets? There is a huge industry making household cleaners that loves the profits from their cleansers.

Save Money, Save The Environment
Now that you know what baking soda can do for you, you can save yourself some money, help green our environment, protect you and your family from the effects of harsh household chemicals. And baking soda will leave your home sparkling clean.
